Mike Buckingham is having a solid but unspectacular season for Maybe Next year - that .305 average is respectable, but 9 homers and 38 RBIs aren't exactly carrying this struggling squad. He's doing his part as a role player, but when your team name is Maybe Next year, you know nobody's expecting miracles from anyone on that roster! At least he's consistent - which is more than I can say for most of his teammates.
